This is the official Battle Royale Rule Book.  What is stated here are the rules of the land.  This document is updated only when needed, all changes to the Rule Book are documented at the bottom.

If you need clarification on a specific rule or believe a rule needs to be further explained, contact the commish.

To submit a proposed change to the Rule Book, contact the commish and they can put it to a vote.

  • League is run on Yahoo Fantasy Football
  • Dues are due by the end of week 3, If not paid in full the team is locked until dues are paid
  • Only the commissioner can veto trades
    • If owners are unhappy with the trade, they can make a case against the trade directly to the commissioner within 48 hours of the trade acceptance
  • Week 12 Trade Deadline
  • Trades reopen after the Hall of Fame Game
    • If the Hall of Fame game is canceled, then it is at the end of the day PST that the game was scheduled on
    • Trading of Picks is allowed however only 1 pick can be traded at a time
    • Yahoo does not support trading prior to the draft, any and all trades made during the period between the Hall of Fame game and the draft must be submitted to the commissioner no later than 48 hours before the draft is scheduled
  • In order to enact a rule change there needs to be support for the change from 70% of greater of the current active members
  • Rule changes can only be implemented in the off season unless there is a 100% support for the proposed change
  • In rare circumstances where games are canceled or postponed or moved in such a way that it drastically affects the outcome of a fantasy matchup. The commissioner will make an executive decision to do what is best for the league and all teams involved
    • Matchups affected in the regular season will most likely side with what Yahoo or the Fantasy service decides to do with the situation
    • Decisions that involve the commissioners team directly will result in a majority vote to approve the commissioner's decision

Keeper League

This is not your average keeper league, things are a little more complicated than others. These unique settings set the Battle Royale apart and keep it intense and fun throughout the season.

  • Each team is allowed 3 keepers
  • Each team is also allowed 1 developmental player
    • A Developmental player is somebody that meets the following requirements
      • Less than 500 Total Yards (RB/WR/TE) or 1500 Total Yards (QB)
      • This player can be anybody that meets the yardage requirements (Rookie, Veteran, Injured Player Etc)
  • Keepers must be submitted to the commissioner before kick-off of the Hall of Fame game
    • If the Hall of Fame game is canceled, then it is at the end of the day PST that the game was scheduled on
  • If a team decides not to keep any players or fails to report their keepers by the deadline then they will receive compensatory picks at the end of the draft

MVP

At the end of the season, managers vote on who they think is the fantasy player MVP. The team who happens to have that player will earn a $20 payout at the end of the season as part of the updated payout system.
